RIVERSIDE MEADOW

New in 2022, the Riverside Meadow is a spacious off‑grid glamping site that sleeps up to 8 guests (maximum 4 adults), making it perfect for two adult couples, a group of four friends, or one to two families. We welcome up to two small or medium dogs on request.

The field kitchen is fully equipped with a two‑ring gas burner, BBQ, cool box, kettle, teapot, cafetiere, cooking utensils and all the cups, plates, bowls, glasses and cutlery you’ll need. A canvas‑covered dining table seats eight comfortably for relaxed alfresco meals.

Your private facilities include a composting toilet, urinal, and an off‑grid, spring‑fed hot shower. For sleeping, there are two Landpods, each with two double beds. Every bed has a mattress protector and fitted sheet — simply bring your own bedding, towels, food and drink. Bedding packs (duvets, pillows, covers and towels) are available to hire if you prefer to travel light.

From the riverbank, you’ll find easy access to a natural plunge pool — the perfect place to cool off on warm summer days.

You’ll also have access to the Potting Shed (our pottery studio), where you’ll find a freezer, phone‑charging points and a small lending library. Extra kindling is available for £7 via the honesty box, and handmade pottery is also available to buy.
