Walking & Nature

We’re surrounded by ancient woodland, riverside paths and open moorland. Enjoy peaceful walks straight from the farm or head onto Bodmin Moor for big skies, granite tors and incredible views. Keep an eye out for wildlife — deer, owls, kingfishers and more.

Wild Swimming & Water Adventures

The River Bedalder offers natural plunge pools and quiet spots to cool off in summer. For bigger adventures, nearby lakes and coastal beaches provide opportunities for paddleboarding, kayaking and sea swimming.

Beaches on Both Coasts

Being centrally located means you can reach both the north and south coasts with ease.

  • North Coast: dramatic cliffs, surf beaches and rugged scenery.

Traffic can make these trips particularly challenging in the summer months our tip would be to drive or get a cab down to Bodmin Parkway and jump on the train from there. you can access the main line and change for branch lines to Falmouth, St Ives, Newquay and Looe
